Beautiful Life

“You must give everything to make your life as beautiful as the dreams that dance in your imagination.” – Roman Payne

It seems to me that we spend most of our lives searching for beauty. We pursue happiness. We’re looking for that one person to cure us of the need for anyone else. To cure us of loneliness, self-doubt, or negative thoughts. We act as if we’re broken and someone or something is going to cure that.

But isn’t it true that we’re the ones who make life beautiful or not? Isn’t it true that only our thoughts can distinguish between happiness and suffering? That it’s all about us, about what we think and what we feel and what we see.

Are you trying to create a beautiful life for yourself? Are you doing your best to create the future that you’ve been dreaming about for so long?

Dreams don’t just come true. You’ve got to make them come true.

It’s as simple as that. It’s as simple as deciding that what you have is enough. It’s as simple as looking yourself in the mirror and accepting what you see. With all the good and the bad.

It’s all about the way your demons dance with your angels. It’s all about the way you manage life, the way you manage adversity and opportunity alike.

Make the best out of everything. Enjoy the small things. And fight.

Yes.

Fight to create the life that you deem yourself worthy of having because no one else is going to fight for it.

Dreams come true. Even though sometimes it seems that nothing happens. Even though at times it seems that you’re not really advancing. But you are. Day after day, as long as you fight, you’re getting better. It’s all just a matter of perception, really.

Sometimes progress is all about holding on. Sometimes all you can do is hold on tight to your dreams.

But you alone know what those dreams are and what they mean to you. You alone can make them come true, and you alone can decide how much are you willing to fight for them.

It’s all about you, I’m afraid. About your determination, about your ambition, about your courage. About your curiosity in face of the unknown, about you being able to face insurmountable odds.

It’s all you.

Just you.

And the beautiful life that you have imagined into existence.

    1. Simple words indeed hold a huge impact. I’m happy to know that you chose to ask yourself – infact, it’s good to say “Thank You” to each passing moment.

      Keep smiling 😊 ✨ ❤

  1. Aishwarya, when I was 19 I felt that I was supposed to have a partner and children. But I knew that couldn’t be correct because I was barely one year into the Marine Corps with three years remaining.
Yet every night in my dreams this woman came to me. Tall, with smooth light colored hair. Everything else about this person was slightly blurry. So a year later when I was home on leave, I met a tall, light haired girl (woman), and had her come back to North Carolina with me where I was stationed. We did enjoy each others company, but I quickly realized it was not love, and we parted.
I’ve posted that in 2005 I quit my job and attempted to be a writer…which did not go well, and within 4 months I could no longer make my house payments. So in Feb 2006 I sold the house and moved to a duplex on Valentines day 2006.
The landlord of the duplex told me not to worry about the neighbor because she would be moving soon, and then I could play my guitar as loud as I wanted. But until then, be respectful. I was exhausted after loading and unloading three truck loads of furniture into my new place, and sat out in the back patio with the windows open. I thought I could fall asleep, the chair felt so comfortable, and just let my eyes close. Until I heard a voice…a woman’s voice, asking me if I’d like some iced tea she had just made. Opening my eyes was a challenge, just when you think you’ve fallen asleep, and everything was blurry at first. And there stood this woman who had visited me so many times in my dreams. Six feet tall and of Scandinavian decent with light brown hair. Over the next few weeks I learned that she was 11 months younger than I, and made a mistake getting pregnant her senior year in high school…exactly the time I was getting my fatherhood promptings. Needless to say we had 35 of the most precious and perfect months of our lives, before her passing, and I realized how blessed we are to get those dreams fulfilled.
But today is Sunday, and to tell you that any of these things happened on there own would be a lie. And even worse, if I said I made them happen. You know I believe in God, and to not acknowledge Him would become my greatest sin, because I believe that if we are true to Him, He will be true to us, allowing for some of those dreams to come true. Even if only for a little while.
I love your posts, your cheerfulness and your caring for all of us. You are a sweet and beautiful child. And I hope that when the world makes you cry, you can forgive it, because your love for us is contagious, and I think if you had to cry, we all would too.

    1. This inspired me as well as I have tears. There is so much wisdom, courage, faith, sadness and happiness altogether into what you’ve said.

I hold no equal stand to speak right to you, being younger and of less life experiences than you. But I have never been so touched. Thank you for sharing this life piece. It must’ve been difficult and seemingly important part of yours.

I wish I can just sit and talk with you. There’s so much to learn from you. Needless to say, I’m happy you can smile through all of these phases. I wish you all the happiness in this life and beyond.

The last lines just put me to tears. I’m grateful to you.

Lastly, Philip, I hope God bestows his love and blessings on you.

My best wishes are with you. I wish I could personally meet you and just say a thank you for this beautiful piece you’ve just shared.

Blessings, Love and Hugs xoxo ❤ ❤

    1. “Just when the caterpillar thought it was worthless, it changed into a butterfly.” One of my favorite quotes.

Anyway, thank you! ❤ Keep smiling 😊 ✨

  2. “It’s all about the way your demons dance with your angels.” I love the symbolism and ease of this line. As a fellow writer, your writing inspires me to write.

The point you made in this post was spot on. So often we seek happiness and fulfillment of dreams in others. However, depending on another for your contentment will ultimately disappoint you, because everyone else is as human as you, and they will fall. When that fall does come, it is imperative that you have your own sense of self. The path differs from person to person. My parents have taught my siblings and me that, when others let us down, we can always rely on faith in Christ.

Living vicariously is, indeed, a dangerous road.

    1. It is indeed inspiring to know that you have such strength, courage and knowledge in the fact that other people are as human as you. Wow.

You just gave a light to that very knowledge of mankind. We must have a sense of self. It’s the need of the hour. It keeps us sane. And if you thank your parents in teaching you and your siblings that, I also must thank them for such a wise and noble upbringing. You’re a piece of art. I wish you all the best in your endeavors. Take care ❤❤

      1. Thank you for the kind words, Aishwarya! I wish you the best in this journey of creating beauty and fulfilling dreams through one’s self and beliefs.

  3. Again.. Awesome as Heaven. I can only say that.

I wonder if you’re some kind kind of “PROFESSIONAL” behind. Your words are such accurate! Awesome! Awesome! And Awesome
    I want to say more

  4. Hey Aishwarya can i suggest you some tips so you can earn money online because you’re Very good in Writing blogs and Articles. Why don’t you join Fiverr or freelancer site. I think Fiverr is the best.
Please don’t mind I’m saying because you’re really a good writer.

    1. Not at all, I love your support and advice. Right now I’m working on a project already and so I don’t have time for Fiverr. I’ve heard about it and definitely want to give it a try. Thank you for reminding me, I’ll probably join it soon enough because I like the idea.

      Thanks again! ❤

  5. I love this! This is everything I’m about. Making my dreams come true and encouraging others to fight for their dreams. Great writing! Thank you for sharing 🙂
