10 Morning Affirmations To Slay The Day!

I’ve been quiet on an affirmation kick over the past week or so. I think it’s because I’ve truly had so much going on, and have had to depend on the power of a healthy mind now more than ever to stay focused, optimistic, and filled with energy!

I wanted to share my personal affirmations I use each morning to get up with a sense of gratitude, inner-peace, and serious ambition. I created these myself, and they work. My suggestion is waking up, making a cup of coffee, lighting a candle, and sitting down to spend at least 5-10 minutes with these. Really give yourself a few dedicated minutes to feel these words as you repeat them. You can read them quietly, or say them out loud. There’s no wrong way to do it! Enjoy!

– Today I wake up filled with gratitude and light

– I am so excited about what this day will bring and all the opportunities I am about to create

– I begin my day with clarity, confidence, and faith

– I feel healthy, sexy, strong, and beautiful in my body

– I get to choose the woman I want to be today

– I feel grounded and centered today

– Today I get to give love and spread positivity to those around me. I get to make people’s lives a little better

– I always make the best decisions and I trust my gut because that bitch knows what’s up!

– I am always guided and I know that what is for me will not pass me

– Today is about to be the best day of my life!

That last one came from a woman in her 90’s that I saw in the Advanced Style documentary. I just live for older, wiser humans that know how to do life!

I hope you all have a powerful, magical, kick-ass day. Please feel free to use these affirmations or even better – create your own!

And remember: Your mind is your best asset. Use wisely! <3

With Love & Smiles

Thank you for all the Love and Support. I love you for that! xoxo

Also – I’m very much nearing the 5k follower mark. I am so happy and thrilled! I feel like doing a Q & A for you. Send me an email or comment a question you feel like asking me. Anything, appropriate, will be answered with your blog and name mentioned when I reach the 5k mark!

Namaste! 🙌

  1. These affirmations are such an uplifting, encouraging way to start a day. I especially like the seventh one: “Today I get to give love and spread positivity to those around me. I get to make people’s lives a little better.” Each morning we have the opportunity to spread love and light. It’s a privilege, not a chore, to be alive and able to live this way.

No worries about the later responses. Life is busy! It certainly sounds like you have a full plate, yet you still take the time to connect with your readers at Eclipsed Words now. Spectacular!

    1. I’m just so relieved by knowing that there is someone out there who accepted my apologies. Thank you so much!
You’re right, we do have the power to control our mind and get ready for the day. It’s just that some situations are out of our control and that is when these affirmations help us stay stable.

  2. I love these! That’s one thing I really struggle with when life get’s busy – finding balance and keeping a healthy, optimistic, peaceful mindset. It often holds me back because I’m so concerned about getting overwhelmed in life (…I hope I’m not the only one like this!) but your reminder to sit and meditate on these affirmations is just what I needed. Thank you, as always!

    1. Yes, you’re right. You aren’t the only one Laura. Each one of us have our problems and struggles to deal with. Nevertheless, this is why these kind of affirmations help us stay stable and keep our mind in the right place. Mental health matters. Some situations are out of our control but keeping our spirits right, help us save the day – for ourselves.
      Anyway,
      Thank you for reading ❤

  3. This is sort of biblical. Last week, I listened to a sermon about meditating on God’s word. The pastor likened meditating to a cow chewing cud (as a vegetarian, I liked this). The cow chews and chews and chews and then tucks the food wherever a cow tucks its food before it brings it back up again (eww). We’re supposed to do the same thing. If you google “God’s promises,” you’ll find a slew of verses to chew and chew and chew. I tried it yesterday during my 45-minute walk to work between 4 and 5 a.m. I chose “no weapon formed against me shall prosper” because my landlord is evicting me. This morning, I woke up at 3 to get ready, and a few minutes later, GoFundMe sent me an email saying some anonymous person had donated to the profile I posted on my memoir weeks ago. So, that was exciting…and inventive to keep meditating on God’s word. 😊

  4. My mornings for personal daily uplifting (although, your points are great as well for general use):
    – Standing up, already sun,
    – Going from room to hall, doggo comes for a hug…so, well, of course I do, with barely opened eyes,
    – Then, reaching kitchen, getting coffee,
    – Other morning hug awaits there, from wife,
    – Coffee…yeahhhh…travels slowly down. My gosh, life is great,
    – Going outside, placing water spots again for birds…
    – Going back inside, two hours work…then play with doggo, kitties…

Well…a routine to live by. 🙂

  5. Hey, just wanted to say thanks for following my blog. You have a beautiful way of expressing yourself with your words and art, it is a real pleasure to visit your blog. Thanks so much for your support, it means a lot. Looking forward to reading more!

  6. So so true. You are what you think. It is that simple. Iff you can’t be positive and also trust that what is going on in your life is happening because it is is exactly what you told your mind what to do for you then you will be slapped right and left always trying to undo a problem. You can’t say, “I will succeed ( but I’m really not to sure)” then that is what will happen. So I try to only feed myself with exactly what I want no matter how absurd it is with people around me telling me I won’t succeed (but they will be there to cushion my fall.) Nah – I’m going to live my life on my own terms. Have a great day!
