Awakening

Hello to all beautiful souls here! ✨✨

I hope you had a great week. This week I just took the time to be me. I haven’t pressured myself to respond to my emails, notifications or even messages. I took the liberty to just be in the moment. Study for my finals, connect with my business peers and have a healthy sleep routine. (I fell sick on Monday and had a University report due today. Being a business student is exhausting…) But after realizing that some things in life can wait, and focussing on myself and to savor each moment and get the work done of the present moment, I feel better. And honestly, I feel like I’ve had the most productive week in so long! I need to focus on the now and take a few things at a time instead of handling multiple tasks.

Anyway,

♥♥♥♥♥ I’d love for you to subscribe to my mailing list! It’s different than following my blog. On there, I’ll be sending out personal email-only love notes. Now along with following my blog (which btw, I can’t thank you enough), you’ll be able to interact with me on a personal level too. You just need to enter your email address. Thanks!

And…

This poem is dedicated to you. The person who thinks it’s either too early or too late to work on their dreams. I shared it on my Instagram just a few hours ago and couldn’t resist sharing it here. This poem is for the fire inside you, that keeps you shining. Remember to never abandon your fierce self (the “never giving up” attitude toward being the best version of you!) This world needs your dreams and you! It’s never too late or too soon to start living your life on your terms.

Awakening 🌿

i see…

so many people walking the earth

with dreams in their eyes and ambition in their heart,

but deep down they know what they’re living is a lie.

the alarm goes off at an exact time every day,

so they can walk into a job they hate,

just because they need the pay.

and when realization strikes,

it seems that all time does is take from them,

but it never seems to give,

and here they are waiting for the day to come,

when they’ll finally start to live.

living too cautiously to spend a few penny on the last years of their life. waiting a whole lifetime to be an idea of something “perfect.”

and i’m scared now…

thinking i’ll become just like the rest,

only walking with the crowd,

because my dreams have been oppressed.

that one day i’ll look back on life,

at the opportunities that i missed,

and realize i never truly lived,

all i did was exist.

so now is the chance,

it’s never too late or soon,

to start building your dreams,

before someone else hires you to work for their fortune.

  1. So many times we’re scared to take a chance on our dreams or think it’s too late, or people think their too old. I say dive in your never too old and it’s never too late to try something new or do the things that light you up and bring you fulfillment and happiness.

  2. Beautiful. I have no doubt you will always continue to pursue your dreams, because you are awake to the reality of their magnificence. Thanks for sharing your inspirations with us.

      1. Your writing was so nice but can’t read the whole writing.I have an interest to go through your writing but I can’t open your blogs . So can you send me your blog’s link, so that my problem can be solved?

  3. I am so glad that you are doing better and that the eyes of your understanding are open to some important truths. There is no doubt you will be successful. Your poem is transparent and beautifully written. Continue to be encouraged, “live in your moment.”
