Here is a small reminder for you.
How well do you know yourself? Your likes, style, preferences, colors, and more. Is what you like and prefer the things that make your soul dance or the things you were told you should like when you were growing up? Is that ice cream really that wonderful and delicious or do you eat it thinking it is since that was what you were told? Everything you think you love about life maybe what others told you to love, which could be why you are not as happy and satisfied with your life as you could be. It is all about taking the time to really get to know Y-O-U!
This is something I tweeted about a few hours ago…

#mc_embed_signup{background:#fff; clear:left; font:14px Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; } /* Add your own MailChimp form style overrides in your site stylesheet or in this style block. We recommend moving this block and the preceding CSS link to the HEAD of your HTML file. */
How well do you take care of yourself? I am not talking about your waist line, your hair or your nails. I am talking about the whole you. This would include all that has been mentioned, your physical self based on appearance, but it would also include many things you have not considered. Is your source of income something that energizes you, brings you a sense of pride and accomplishment, or is it a daily grind? Are you waiting for an entitlement check? Are you going through the motions until the day you can retire? It could be that you need to really take a hard look at your source of income and change careers, choices, or your income producing lifestyle, to be more authentic to who you are.
If anything in your life does not feel right for any reason, or for reasons unknown, you may just not know who you really are, or maybe your life isn’t as authentic as it could be.
Taking the time to really get to know yourself is invaluable to your happiness and success.
Give it some thought, you are much more complex than you give yourself credit for.
You deserve the time and you need to develop patience because you need to know that you deserve the best version of Y-O-U! You deserve it and you are worth it. I’m not saying it’s easy, I’m saying it’s worth it. And, it is possible.
As the saying goes – Whether you think you can or you can’t you’re always right!

“You don’t need to be happy, you need to be at peace” This claims for a conscious reflection! Thanks for sharing!
I’d like to think we’re like a tree or an onion always peeling back new layers and making new discoveries about ourselves through self-love, journaling, meditation, mindfulness..etc.😊❤️
Above average thoughts though. People these days are really negative, I mean really negative. Thanks for sharing this amazing post and keep up the good work coming.
Peace!
Love that saying, it is so true. Very mature words for your age within your blog, I love the way you think and write. Enjoyed reading it all.
As I grew up I considered those things my family liked. I chose to like those which interested me but others fell away as I found my own interests and likes. I think life is a constant opportunity to learn and still continue to find new interests with the passing of time.
